Welcome! I’m Alex.

If you are facing loss, anxiety, transition, trauma, or relational challenges, I’d like you to know one thing:

You don’t have to go it alone.

Let’s walk together

About Me

My therapy practice is founded on three tenets: Presence, Acceptance, and Compassion.

I believe that there is immense transformational power available to us when we are willing to uncover and engage with what has happened to us in this life. By tending to our deepest pains, we can adapt and even find the inspiration to embark upon a fulfilling and joyful existence. To begin, we need to be truly witnessed in a space free from judgment and filled with genuine care.

As a licensed mental health therapist, I offer long-term relational psychotherapy that emphasizes our collaborative and heart-centered experience in the room together. I work individually with people who are processing all types of grief, including the loss of loved ones to both death and estrangement, as well as those going through transitions, encountering challenges in their interpersonal relationships, experiencing anxiety, working through trauma, codependency, or seeking to more deeply explore their self-concept. I also periodically offer group therapy for those looking to process grief from the loss of a parent.

What it’s like to work with me

When you step into my office, know that you can set aside societal pressures to quickly “move on” from your painful experiences, who or what you have lost, and show up authentically. My approach is warm and eclectic, drawing from psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I bring my personhood, humor, and empathy to the work. In session, I hold space for you to process and ask questions to help you dig deeper. I believe that you hold more answers than you think you do, so I will empower you by helping you to help yourself. Together we can quiet the noise, go deep, and truly listen to your intuitive voice. I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey inward and offer you insight and tools to carry with you on your way forward.
